Academic Awards Information

CCH proudly hosts an academic awards ceremony in the fall of each school year, dedicated to celebrating the academic success of our students. During the annual award ceremony, the following awards are presented to students who have excelled in the following academic pursuits: 

 

 

CCH Academic Medals - Gold, Silver, and Bronze 

 

Awarded to the students who attain the highest percentage in each grade level. 

 

 

Honour Society 

 

Awarded to students who obtain an 80% overall average in the following during the September to June academic year:  

 

Honour Roll (Grade 9, 10, 11) - 80% overall average in 8 or more CCH credits.  

Honour Roll (Grade 12) - 80% overall average in 6 or more CCH credits.  

 

Credits obtained in summer school, evening classes, and courses taken at another secondary school location are not factored in the criteria above. 

 

 

Subject Awards 

 

Awarded to students who obtain the highest mark in an individual course.
