CCH IB Awards
IB students are eligible to receive the following awards:
International Baccalaureate Diploma Points Award
|
This award is given to the student(s) who have attained the greatest number of points toward the IB Diploma. A minimum of 34 out of 45 points is required to receive this award.

Theory of Knowledge and Extended Essay Award
|
Awarded to students who attain 3 out of 3 possible points on the TOK and EE matrix.
|
International Baccalaureate Certificate of Excellence (TOK/EE)
|
Awarded to students to attain 2 out of 3 possible points on the TOK and EE matrix.
|
Certificate of Global Citizenship (CAS)
|
This award is given to a student who has devoted a considerable amount of time to community service with a significant focus on global issues.
|
Certificate of Excellence (CAS)
|
Awarded to the student who has met all the CAS requirements, demonstrated a complete and well-balanced portfolio, and has submitted outstanding reflections
|
Platinum Award
|
Awarded to students who have attained a total of 45 out of 45 possible points toward the IB Diploma. This achievement is equivalent to a 99% average over a 2 year course of study. A plaque will be permanently displayed at Catholic Central High School in honour of this outstanding achievement.
|
Spirit Award
|
Awarded to a student(s) who have consistently served as outstanding IB Diploma Programme ambassadors and have demonstrated superior initiative by assuming leadership roles and responsibilities throughout their course of study.
|
Career- Related Program Award
|
Awarded to a Career-Related program student who has successfully demonstrated all the core requirements, including language development, service learning, personal and professional skills, and the reflective project.
|
IB Certificate Program Award
|
Awarded to a Certificate student who has successfully demonstrated the philosophy of IB and obtained the highest number of points for a minimum of 4 IB Diploma courses.
